RUGBY

Our thriving Youth section runs from U13s through to the Colts (U17s/18s). The club has been investing heavily to ensure that our Youth section stays as engaged as the Minis in the face of competition from school rugby and other competing interests. The club has introduced a pathway from Youth to Senior team rugby so that all players have the opportunity to keep on playing up to the top level. As a club, we are really keen to ensure that our players transition to Senior rugby and have had some success across the last couple of seasons, but would love more.

At London Welsh, our players are very well supported by their team manager and coaches and we train and play with the ethos of having fun, learn the game, make friends and win matches. London Welsh has a special atmosphere and a unique history which is ingrained in our young players from the U6s to the Colts and beyond. The support that the club and all volunteers give in developing our young players is phenomenal. Our first team players have committed to helping train our various Youth teams on Sundays and we have professional coaches leading many of the training sessions in particular from U16s upwards. Our focused set up is inspiring our young players to see their senior rugby future at London Welsh as we climb up the leagues. London Welsh RFC has a strong community and welcomes all newcomers –and no you do not have to be Welsh. Join us and be successful the London Welsh way!
